Don Bosco College wishes farewell to Rev Fr. Dilip Bara SDB, Rector and Parish Priest

13 June: Don Bosco College community wished farewell today to Rev Fr. Dilip Bara SDB, Rector and Parish priest. The day began with the farewell mass in the morning. At the College assembly, the students felicitated and wished father all the best for the new ministry at Tamenglong in Manipur. Fr. Dr. Jose Palely,  Principal, appreciated the great works of Fr. Dilip and appreciated his grace filled presence in the campus. All were appreciative of his spirit of calmness and his capacity to find practical solutions in any difficult situation. He wished Fr. Dilip all God’s blessing in the new ministry. Fr. Bimal Lakra, Vice Principal and PRO, placed on record  his contribution towards the starting of the college at Golaghat. In his message, Fr. Dilip exhorted the students to focus on study and strive for excellence.

Fr. Dilip Bara will move to Don Bosco Tamenglong on 20th June to take up the new ministry as Asst. Parish Priest, Asst. Headmaster and Councillor. We wish him all the best.
