Over 30 Principals participate at IUS-DBHEI National Conference

Nov 19: Over 30 Principals from 42 Higher Educational Institutions of Salesian India participated in a 2 day National Conference at Transformational Leadership Resource Centre at Siloam situated near Barapani Lake, Ri Bhoi district of Meghalaya.

Archbishop Emeritus Thomas Menamparampil of Guwahati and Apostolic Administrator of Jowai in Meghalaya was the keynote speaker at the IUS-DBHEI National Conference. He exhorted the participants to “help young people to think, to reflect with tools that will help”.

Dr. Basil Koikara, Registrar, Assam Don Bosco University while speaking on Networking invited the participants for a paradigm shift from ‘what you know’ to ‘Whom you know’ to be effective in networking.

The participants visited the Don Bosco Museum, to get a peep into the cultural life of the people.  St. Anthony’s College Shillong, the first higher educational institution of the Salesian world gave a heart throbbing welcome to the participants through a blend of cultural performances organised by the staff and students.
