Second Preliminary Round of Mr. Panna Memorial Quiz held

21 Sept:  Fr. Bimal Lakra, Vice Principal and PRO organised the second round of Mr. Panna Memorial Quiz today. The round consisted of written exam based on the first 500 questions of the Quiz Book published by Dr. A J Sebastian. There will be one more preliminary round of next 500 questions from the Quiz Book. The top 30 students on the basis of all the three preliminary rounds will be selected.

Rev Fr. Jose Kuruvachira, Provincial, Dimapur Province visits the college

15 Sept:  Rev Fr. Jose Kuruvachira, the newly appointed provincial of Dimapur Province visited the college. The management, staff and students gave a very warm welcome to the provincial. He was brought to the college accompanied by the dancers. The students danced to the tune and gave a rousing welcome to the provincial. He addressed the staff and students and interacted with the Salesians. He appreciated the wonderful work that is being done in the campus and was extremely delighted to see the wonderful family spirit at the campus.

15 Sept : Ms. Sushmita Bora Rongpipi, Career Facilitator conducted activity session for the career trainees. All the members took active participation in the activities.

14 Sept: Mr. Harmeet Singh, Career Facilitator along with Sr. Reena George  organised activity session for the career trainers. All the students took active part in the session.

First Session Exam results published

14 Sept : The results of the first session examination was published on 14 September. It was published in the order of performance. This presentation helped the students to perform better in the forth coming examination.

Symposium Wall Magazine of the Department of English inaugurated

14 Sept:  Fr. Dr. Policarp Xalxo, Administrator and Asst. Professor, Dept of Political Science, inaugurated “SYMPOSIUM” wall magazine prepared by the department of English. The main theme of the magazine was “Moral Values in Modern Times”.  In his message, Fr. Policarp appreciated the creativity and ingenuity of the students and the staff who coordinated preparation of the Wall Magazine.

Janam Wall Magazine of the Department of Education inaugurated

13 Sept : Fr. Bimal Lakra, Vice Principal and PRO, inaugurated the JANAM wall magazine prepared by the students of the department of Education. The wall magazine in this issue focused on creating awareness about the importance of having a very good General Knowledge among the students. Fr. Bimal Lakra in his message encouraged and appreciated the creativity with which the students prepared the Wall Magazine and congratulated them for their attractive presentations.

Sr. Sheela and Cicily Pallissery visited the college and interacted with the students

12 Sept: Sr. Sheela CJ and Sr. Cicily Pallissery CJ, cousins of Fr. Jose Palely visited the college and interacted with the staff and students. They presented their works in Allahabad and spent a few days in the area visiting various communities. We wish them all the best.

Mr. Panna Memorial Quiz Preliminary Round was held today

7 Sept : Fr. Bimal Lakra, Vice Principal and PRO, organised the preliminary round of the Mr. Panna Memorial Quiz.  The contents of the preliminary round was based on the Wall Magazines published by the various departments. The preliminary round is compulsory for all the students. This created a lot of interest in the students to study the various wall magazines.  In this preliminary written round, only questions based on wall magazines were asked. There will be two more preliminary rounds in which all the students will participate. The Next two preliminary round will be based on the Quiz book prepared by Dr. A J Sebastian.

September 5 observed as Gratitude Day at the College

5 Sept: The College observes September 5 as the Gratitude day honoring the staff, management and all those who in one way or other helping the college. The students welcomed the staff through dance and songs. through a very colourful and vibrant cultural program expressed their appreciation for the staff. The students also appreciated the staff in their departments as well. The students made this a very memorable day for the staff and management.
