Fr Mathew C Paul presented ‘Quiz Night’ to Library










Nov 30: To improve the General knowledge of the students, Fr. Mathew C Paul M.Arch and Construction in charge of the campus donated a book titled ‘Quiz Night’ today.
It is an excellent resource book for quizzers and also provides various ways to organise a quiz. He has always been providing for the institution whatever useful items he gets for the benefit of the students. We appreciate his concern.

Creating a garden in campus


Nov 25: The students who are staying back to complete their exams have joined hands together with the management to create a garden in the campus. They want to show case something new for the new year as a surprise for all the students who will return to class on 2 January 2017.

The CSJB sisters in a special way are trying to get a variety of plants and greens to make the garden truly colourful and beautiful.

It was wonderful to see the students mixing cow dung with mud and preparing the place for saplings.

Cassone Global of Guangdong Province, China, visits the college


Nov 26: Mr. Toshy Manooran, Managing Director and Mr. George Mattam, Executive Director of Cassone Global Co. Limited visited Don Bosco College Golaghat along with Fr. Xavier Mattam to plan for the infrastructural development at the campus.

They interacted with Fr. Mathew C Paul and Fr. Jose Palely who had visited their office in the Guangdong province of China and took note of the infrastructure requirements which they can arrange.

This was part of their visit to the North East to study the feasibility of supplying quality materials at affordable rates to various institutions.


Staff & Management study the First Draft Document on CBCS

Nov 9: On the Eve of the Workshop on Introduction of Choice Based Credit System (CBCS ) at UG level, some of the staff and the management met together to discuss in detail the first draft of the proposal presented by the University.

Mr. Harmeet Singh presented the study of the staff in understanding the document. He focused on the Credit, and the distribution of subjects. He noted that in this first draft proposal, both Arts and Commerce Streams are clubbed together.

After that the staff discussed the various relevant points of the draft.
